The engagement affair part 31

“Damn that Emelia!!” Nataniel thought. He was walking
towards the shower stalls at the far end of the beach. It
was a rather hot evening and he didn’t want to go back
to the beach house just yet. Besides he was pissed.
“Who does she think she is? I don’t care if she’s my
bride-to-be, but I think I’ve had enough of her
snobbishness.”
He pulled of his shirt and walked up to the stalls. He
was looking for an empty one when he felt rather than
heard someone closely behind. The hairs behind his
neck stood out and turning around, he was startled to
see a red-haired girl appear behind him, her face
almost sticking into his.
“Yo!!” Anastasja greeted before shoving him into the
nearest empty shower stall.
Sofia knocked quietly on the door. “Emelia, may I come
in?” There was no answer and she turned the knob and
entered. Emelia lay on her bed, her back to her sister.
She didn’t turn when she entered and Sofia stood at the
door for a few moments before speaking.
“What’s wrong Emelia? You’ve been so cold to me and
Nataniel. Talk to me, please.”
Emelia turned and Sofia saw the fire coals in her eyes.
The dark look in her face told Sofia what was wrong.
“You…saw us the other day, didn’t you?” she asked her
sister. She walked closer to the bed and sat down
beside her.
“Y…yes. But…but I, uh, didn’t mean to!” Emelia blurted
out. “I was just walking by.”
There was an awkward pause between them. “Why
would you do that anyway?”
“Do what?”
Emeila stared at her sister, her eyes searing hot coals.
“Why will you have s*x with him? Sneaking around my
back. You’re supposed to be teaching him how to take
care of me, you dirty slut!!!”
Sofia recoiled. “B-but I wasn’t…I thought you didn’t
want him!!”
“Shut up!!! He’s my fücking future husband!! Was this
your plan all along?!!! To sleep with him, all in the name
of coaching him?!!!”
“That’s not true!!! I…”
“I noticed it too when I first laid eyes on him!!” Emelia
continued. “He looks just like your husband. But
there’s nothing you can do about that. He’s gone!!! You
can’t bring him back using MY OWN HUSBAND!!!! You
can’t use him to console yourself!!!”
“You misunderstand EMELIA!!” Sofia blurted back at
her sister, the tears bursting from her eyes. “I’m not
trying to replace my husband! I’m not using Nate to
console myself!!”
“Then why?!! Why did you betray my trust in you? Why
did I catch you sleeping with him?”
Sofia paused. How was she going to tell her it was all
her fault? Huge tears rolled down her cheeks. How
could she tell her only sister she had fallen in love with
her future husband?
“He’s going to be a good husband for you, Emelia” she
said, “but you guys are still young. I want him to be
faithful to you when you both finally get married. I need
to make sure he’s good for you!”
